Now, this was shaped with intense heat and pressure in a forge. It weighs about ten pounds. Take this sword and hold it out straight. The more time we spend with the Word of God, in prayer, and following the Lord, the stronger we get. Ephesians 6 tells us that the Word of God is our sword of the Spirit. It is our primary weapon.
At first, you’ll feel strong and ready, able to stand your ground and face any kind of challenge in front of you. But God wants us to love each other, encourage one another, and keep each other accountable. The longer we try to walk alone, the harder it gets.
Isaiah, how’s that sword doing?

An impoverished mind, trapped in low self-esteem, begins to repeat its own harsh judgments, calling itself stupid, crazy, or worthless. This mindset not only shapes thoughts but becomes a declaration of unworthiness, forming a cycle of negativity.
What we say, whether in conversations, online, or through social media, reveals what we truly believe about ourselves. It also reflects our reputation and what others think of us. We don’t want negative words to give us a bad reputation or make it seem like we have no standards. It is crucial to align our words with the truth of who we are according to God’s Word. He does not call us crazy or worthless; He calls us valuable, full of light, faith, and purpose.
The enemy thrives on labeling us with negativity, but God’s words bring life, not death. So guard your confession. Speak life, not destruction. You are not crazy; you are living, growing, and reflecting the worth and purpose God has placed in you.

Birthright
Genesis 25:30-34 And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright. And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me? And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob. Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentils; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.
Your spiritual birthright is the Holy Spirit. When you reject the Light of this day, you reject your means to the blood of Jesus Christ (1 John 1:7). That is rejecting your spiritual birthright. Walking in the Light is walking with Christ and in the Holy Spirit’s way. Securing your spiritual birthright is keeping with the Light of the Holy Ghost in your day.
In ancient Israel, the birthright belonged to the firstborn son of each family. It consisted of double what the father would leave to the others. The firstborn with the birthright would have double what other family members received of the flocks, herds, land, and all that the father possessed. It meant the difference between poverty and riches in many families in Israel.
Jacob wanted the birthright from his brother, Esau. The Bible says here that Esau sold his right to the birthright for frivolous reasons. As it was with Jacob, God’s chosen one even from his mother's womb, your spiritual birthright should mean everything in the world to you. A Believer should be willing to sell out everything of the world in order to receive the Holy Ghost. Christ alone has the power to save you and make you whole; the birthright to the Believer is the most important thing.
Is your determination for your spiritual birthright the same as Jacob’s was? Seek it with all you have, and when you have it, hold on to it with everything you are.

A Cancer Called “Bitterness”
Bitterness is one of the most destructive and toxic of human emotions. It is the inevitable result of becoming consumed with blaming someone else for one’s misery, blocking us from pursuing our true goals in life.
All bitterness starts as hurt. Anger and its close cousin, resentment, eventually lead to the corrosive ulcer that is bitterness. Bitterness undermines your physical health by causing issues such as insomnia, high blood pressure, back pain, headaches, or abdominal problems. The chronic anger that fuels bitterness raises your stress baseline, taxing or “overloading” your immune system and blinding you to your own role or responsibility, keeping you trapped in a paradoxical state of “vengeful bondage,” which erodes your sense of well-being.
In your mind, you can continue to berate or castigate the one who harmed you—or you can choose to move from a problem-focused perspective to a solution-oriented one, striving to leave your ill-treatment behind.
Only forgiveness enables you to let go of grievances, grudges, rancor, and resentment. It’s the most potent antidote to the venomous desire for retributive justice, which poisons your system.

If you don’t exercise, your muscles will atrophy and you will most likely cause some health problems in the long run. Muscles are meant to be used and worked. Exercise, combined with proper diet, can greatly improve your lifestyle and how you feel. But bodily physical exercise does not exercise your Spiritual health. The Apostle Paul told Timothy to exercise his “faith muscle” in all things Godly.
Godliness means piety and a religious life of careful observance of the laws of God. It is pleasing to God that you exercise yourselves in the Holy Spirit and you become more and more like Him. The more you exercise the more you can handle. The more revelation you exercise the more revelation you can handle.
Are you exercising the right things? Godliness and living according to the principles of the Word is worth exercising, seeing the promise of life that we now have. Exercise yourself in faith. Pump out those spiritual push-ups by staying in the Word. This isn’t “works” alone, but it is the expression of your faith.

From the Archives: Believers Testimonies From World Trade Center & Pentagon Terrorist Attacks. All Escape Safely
September 11, 2001 will forever be etched in our memories as the day when the unthinkable happened—America was attacked in New York and Washington D.C., causing thousands of our fellow American to perish at the hand of terrorists. We know that much has been written about the loss of life, the destruction, and the tremendous efforts made to search for the victims of this tragedy. There is another side of the story, however, that we would like to share with you. This is the story of God’s protection of His Bride.
As soon as these disasters occurred, we began to contact all the pastors of the churches and fellowships in the New York and Washington D.C. areas that believe this Message, to ascertain if any of the believers in their congregations were among those missing or injured. Not only was there NOT ONE report of a believer having been among the lost or injured, but these brothers began to relate to us such marvelous testimonies of God’s protection. We bring you their testimonies and trust they will be a real blessing to you.
WASHINGTON D.C.
From: Pastor Walter Walls of the International Christian Believers Fellowship in Vienna, Virginia, just outside Washington DC: Two brothers who attend his church work next to the Pentagon, but their work takes them frequently into the Pentagon. One brother just happened to be off work that entire week. The other brother is a Navy Captain with the 2nd fleet, stationed in Norfolk, Virginia. He was headed to his office, but got stuck in traffic. When he arrived at his office, he was sent back. Through the providence of God, neither of these two brothers was at or near the Pentagon building when one of the hijacked planes crashed into it.
NEW-YORK,NY:
From: Pastor Evon Carrion of The Church At New York City, a Spanish-speaking congregation in the Bronx: His son-in-law, who is an Emergency Medical Technician, was scheduled to work a second shift. On that day, however, that second shift was given to someone else. His EMT unit was sent to the towers.
From: Pastor Ram Mahadeo of The Voice Of God Tabernacle in Huntington NY: His son was driving a truck to the area of the Twin Towers, unaware of what had just happened. Brother Mahaedo was able to contact him by cell phone and divert him before he entered the area into which the towers collapsed shortly thereafter. This son, who is in the Reserve, has been since working in recovery at the site.
Another son of Brother Mahadeo works for a courier service. He was supposed to deliver a package into the Trade Center that morning. When he went to pick up the package he was to deliver, his company told him someone else already picked up the package. Brother Mahadeo said no one has heard from that person, and he apparently was among those lost in this disaster.
Brother Mahadeo also related that another believer in his church, Brother Michael Singh, has a sister who worked in one of the Towers. On September 11th, the train she took to work broke down, causing her to be 15 minutes late. Because of this, she missed being at the site of the disaster.
From: Brother Permanand Raghoo of Faith Tabernacle in Jamaica NY
He offered a testimony about a Pentecostal man, who lives in his neighborhood, who was on the 81st floor when the plane hit. The floors of the building were starting to collapse underneath him, and he was trapped in the debris. He could see the light of a flashlight shining on the opposite side of the room, so he cried out for help. The man with the flashlight called back to him, telling him that he would have to crawl over a fallen wall or kick through it in order to reach him. The Pentecostal man was able to kick through the sheetrock of the wall and reach the man with the flashlight, who turned out to be an older man. He was then able to help this older man down all 81 flights of stairs, and they both managed to get out of the building before it collapsed.

Several believers who attend his church were working nearby the disaster site, but they were all able to escape the area safely.
From: Pastor Tariff Dill of The Spotless Church Of The Lord Jesus Christ in Jamaica NY: He also works as a limousine driver. That morning his alarm clock went off, but he just could not get up. A little while later his wife woke him up; but again he just could not bring himself to get up. He finally got up decided to eat breakfast before going to work. It was only after he had eaten breakfast and showered that he turned on the radio and learned about the tragedy. Had he gotten up at his usual time, he most probably would have been in the area of the destruction.
From Sister Louise DeMaio of Local Christian Assembly in Queens NY. “On Tuesday, September 11, 2001 at 9:07 A.M., my backslidden 19-year old son Jesse, called me to tell me about the catastrophe in New York City. He was working about 15 blocks away. He was in contact with his dad throughout the morning also, who was working uptown at 126th Street. His dad told him to leave the building and start walking and try to get a taxi to meet him.
When he called me back to tell me that the first building fell, I strongly urged him to get out and start walking away from the area. He didn’t know what to do at the time, he kept saying, ‘I can’t, my bosses...’ I told him to forget about his bosses and just start walking. He did leave at the time, and shortly after he saw the second building go down. He was crying and running.
I kept reassuring him throughout our very frequent conversations that he was my child and that nothing was going to happen to him. I said, ‘You are very lucky you have parents that are Christians, nothing is going to happen to you.’
The building in which he was working was severely damaged by the debris. He had to walk for a long time with very heavy bags holding his tools and a laptop. After two and a half hours, he reached his dad.
Once safe in the van with his dad, he called me on the phone and said, ‘You know, you and daddy saved my life today.’ He kept telling us, ‘You saved my life today.’ Yesterday, he called his grandmother in Massachusetts to tell her, ‘My mom saved my life today.’”
From Brother Joseph Bellomo of Local Christian Assembly in Queens NY:
It was seemingly a normal day in New York as we traveled to our jobs in the city. I was at my desk in midtown Manhattan at 38th street and Third Avenue when a co-worker rushed over to announce that a jetliner had crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center. I was on the phone talking to my pastor, Brother Coleman at the time and informed him of the breaking news. As we continued to speak, my co-workers came running over to let me know that another jetliner had crashed into the south tower of the World Trade Center and that New York City was under siege by a terrorist attack. I was immediately concerned about my sons and others in the church that work directly in the area. Brother Coleman said that he would be praying for us.
After several tries, I reached my son Peter, who said that his building shook violently as the second jetliner hit the south tower. Both he and my son Joe work in the downtown financial area and are about four blocks down from the Twin Towers, and their testimonies are shown below. Peter told me that they were running out of the building and that his brother Joe had already begun to evacuate his building. Their cousin David Puma works in the north tower, and he was also a major concern. Throughout the day, I prayed to the Lord for their safety knowing we could not make contact, as thousand of people were fleeing for their lives. I myself could not easily get out of the city, but by the grace of God finally made it home by 6 pm. Once I was home, I learned of the mighty way that God protected His Children. Here are the highlights of their testimonies.
Peter Bellomo
Peter was in his building when both jetliners struck the Twin Towers. Although some four blocks away, his building shook violently when the second jetliner hit and exploded into fames. He ran to the window and saw debris flying in the air. At that point, they were aware that a terrorism attack was underway.
They were told to evacuate the building and they quickly headed for the stairs. As they emerged into the street, they became part of scene of utter chaos. They got into the middle of the street, saw the Towers burning, and heard people screaming that the Pentagon had also been hit.
Suddenly, thousands of people that were between my son and the burning Twin Towers started to run in his direction. The North Tower had just collapsed, and a ten-story high cloud of thick smoke and debris was quickly overtaking them. People were falling and trying to avoid being trampled to death. My son began to run, praying as he was fleeing for his life. With the river behind and to the left of them, they could only run to the right. The cloud of debris and smoke was coming fast, as were the thousands of people fleeing. He had to jump over several two to three foot barriers, but came to a large police barrier and could not continue in that direction. He and some of his friend then ran in another direction toward a 6-foot cement wall that was a barrier to the FDR Drive. Suddenly, the cloud of smoke and debris enveloped them and was raining down on them thick ash and other debris. To make matters worse, they began to hear low flying aircraft overhead and thought that they were going to be shot at.
When they reached that 6-foot wall they knew to stay alive and not be trampled, they had to get over that wall. My son, along with many others, began to lift and push each other up and over the wall. Many were cut and bleeding. Peter was boosted up and was able to scale over the wall, landing real hard on the other side, but without any injury. Once on the FDR Drive, they ran for another half mile and were finally away from the cloud of smoke and debris and thousands of panic stricken people. Peter said that he never stopped praying, knowing that God would somehow see him through. He knew that God had spared his life so that he could be with his lovely wife Kristen as they await their first child on October the 8th.
Joseph Bellomo
Joseph got into his building approximately the same time that the first jetliner struck the North Tower. Looking out the window of his 44th floor office building with his co-workers, he could see the Tower burning and part of the jetliner sticking out. Joseph took out a set of binoculars to get a real close-up. Much to his horror, he watched as people began to jump out of the North Tower. He saw the fear etched on their faces as they hurdled to their deaths. Then, suddenly at 9:03 am, they saw a plane looping around the South Tower. They began to scream out as they realized the plane was purposely crashing into the tower.
A violent crash with a huge ball of fire ensued, that shook Joseph’s building. People began to yell out that a terrorist attack was under way. Everyone started running for the stairs and elevators, knocking each other down. Panic was everywhere, and one feared for one’s life as they fled.
Thousand of people were in the lobby heading out into the street. Smoke and debris were flying through the air. They could not go in many directions, as barricades were up and they had the water behind them. Joseph could clearly see the Towers burning and began to feel the rumble of the ground beneath him. Suddenly a security came running screaming out, “Run for your life! the North Tower is collapsing!”
A huge cloud of thick black smoke and debris was rushing towards them. People began to run toward the water, with nowhere else to go. They were screaming, fainting, and some were trampled on. As they tried to outrun the huge black cloud and debris, it caught up with them and they were suddenly thrust into a surreal midnight-like scene, enveloped in total darkness. Thick black soot was raining down on them along with other debris. Joseph said that they could hardly see and had difficulty breathing. All the while Joseph was praying for a way out to safety.
A bloodied police officer came running, saying that bodies were falling from the sky. The crowd continued to push toward the water, when suddenly someone yelled out, “the ferry! the ferry!” A ferry had come to take them over to New Jersey. Joe’s prayers were answered.
As they rode across the river, they could see the fire in the South Tower raging. Just as they pulled up to the dockside, the South Tower collapsed. The Lord spoke to Joseph saying “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My Word shall never pass away.” Joe Knew that God was gracious to him, and that he would once more be able to see his wife Lois and three daughters Abigail, Deborah and Hannah.
David Puma
My nephew David works in the North Tower of the Twin Towers. David was at work 8 am that day and went up to the ninth floor to participate in a company course. At 8:30 am he was given a break and decided to go downstairs and across the street for some breakfast. While having breakfast across the street, the first jetliner crashed into David’s building. Panic followed, and David realized that God had ordered his steps out of the building prior to the terror attack.
He quickly phoned his wife Sarah and said, “I am okay and will flee this area.” He ran with thousands of others to get on a train out of New York. Once on the train, he realized that the train he was on had to pass under the Twin Towers. Others who realized that were screaming out and crying. The train abruptly stopped under the Towers as the second plane had hit the South Tower. David prayed in the train, as others were in total fear that the building would collapse on them. As he prayed, the train suddenly started again getting out from under the building, just prior to its collapse. David knew God had protected and spared his life and that he would be able to see his little boy Michael and wife Sarah once again.
Fred Cina
Fred is a conductor on the NYC Subway system. He was on duty when the attack took place. His train had advance to within one station of the Twin Towers when they were told to stop. While the passengers were allowed off, he was required to stay with his train. Electricity was turned off and there he stayed, below the earth for over 7 hours, with collapsing Twin Towers a station away, Fred prayed to the Lord for guidance. They were suddenly asked to abandon the equipment and find a way to above ground. The normal exits were not available, so he had to walk through an underground tunnel, through thick smoke and dust, with rats running before them. Fred continued to pray and by God’s Grace was able to make it out the other side and out of the tunnel. He surfaced to the street and was able to eventually make it back home. God answered his prayers and he would once again see his lovely wife Miriam.

The Bible (Gods Love Letter to You)
Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
When you hold the Bible, what do you think about it? Do you stack other books on top of your Bible like it is just any other book? Is it dusty? Falling apart? Charles Spurgeon said one time, “A Bible that’s falling apart usually belongs to someone who isn’t.” Do you cherish your Bible? We should be very thankful for our Bibles.
The Word of God is the most expensive book on the planet. So many lives were lost over the span of history in the process of getting it into your hands. There is one individual in particular who lost his life for this cause, William Tyndale. He was a priest who lived from 1494-1536 and translated the Bible into English. He said before his execution:
"Let it not make thee despair, neither yet discourage thee, O reader, that it is forbidden thee in pain of life and goods, or that it is made breaking of the king's peace, or treason unto his highness, to read the Word of thy soul's health—for if God be on our side, what matter maketh it who be against us, be they bishops, cardinals, popes."
The Bible is a precious book to the Believer. It holds the path to eternal life and reveals the Author in a way that no other book ever will. It is precious in the sight of God. So much has happened so that you can hold a copy of an English Bible in your hands. Thank the Lord for this gift.

Now notice this Bible. Some of them said, "Oh, well, It's done this, It's done that." But let me tell you something, let's just… Let's go into the history of the Bible, just a minute, see where It come from. It was written by forty different writers. Forty men wrote the Bible, over a space of sixteen hundred years apart, and at different times, predicting the most important events that ever happened in world's history, and, many times, hundreds of years before it happened. And there is not one error in the entire sixty-six Books. Oh, my! No author but God Himself could be so accurate. Not one Word contradicts the other. Remember, sixteen hundred years apart, the Bible was wrote, from Moses to—to the death of—of John at the isle, or the Isle of Patmos. Sixteen hundred years, and was wrote by forty different authors; one didn't even know the other one, and they never had It as "the Word." Some of them never even seen "the Word." But when they wrote It, and was understood to be prophets, then, when they put their prophecies together, each one of them dovetailed one to the other.

Your Part in the Church (ourdailystrength.com)
Ephesians 5:25-27 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word. That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
A beekeeper has to insure one thing and manage the hive to obtain one objective: to get honey. He has to make sure the hive is working correctly. He has to insure that the worker bees are working right, the queen bee is producing right, and insure all aspects of the hive are in perfect coherence. He cares for the bees, and the bees know how the keeper smells, how he acts and they know they don’t have anything to worry about around him.
Brother Branham explains that the Church of the living God is just such an operation. Gifts and callings working just in perfect coherence, abiding by the Keeper, the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit needs preeminence in His Bride to keep the people in perfect order and working correctly. He uses the pastor to bring the people in the right direction, uses evangelists to get the people living right, and uses missionaries to spread the gospel. The Church of the living God is a beautiful thing.
The Apostle Paul wrote the word endoxos to describe the Church of the living God. It means a church of honor. “Glorious” means “wonderful, highly esteemed, and splendid.” You are His church. You are a glorious Church, because Christ dwells in you.
Seek to find your place in Christ and there abide. Do just what God has given you the gift to do and let the Lord work His glorious work through you.
Don’t ever think you are insignificant to Christ. You are a vital part of the Church of God. You are more precious than anything to Christ.
58-0223 - "Jesus Christ The Same Yesterday Today And Forever"
Now, as a preacher, I'm not very much of a preacher. But the Lord has given a gift, a Divine gift. Which in the Scriptures we're taught that gifts and callings are without repentance. That's church gifts, not the church, the gifts in the local church which we're to pray for, like First Corinthians 12. But there's five ministering gifts which are--are the foreknowledge of God. And the first of those are apostles, prophets, teachers, evangelists, and pastors. Those are Gods sent gifts to the church.
Apostles or missionaries... We call them "missionary" today. In the early day they called them "apostle." Now, any one knows--knows that the word "apostle" means "one sent." And the word "missionary" means "one sent." So it's both the same thing. Missionaries, prophets, teachers, evangelists, pastors.
Then in every local church there's nine spiritual gifts should be operating in that church, if they're a good praying congregation. And then the pastor who should be the head of the church with the wisdom of God to have that church set in order so no fanaticism, no nothing takes place wrong, just everything proven purely the Spirit of the Holy Ghost working among the people, then you got a real church that's an example church to all the regions around about. It's like a--a hive where the bees come, a lovely church.

61 And now there’s many times that this…that people misjudge one another. And it is a bad thing to do. You say, “Why, she’s got short hair, she’s wearing her dresses too short, that—that—that’s not the Holy Spirit upon her.” Don’t do that! Don’t do that, that’s not right. You don’t know what’s in that woman’s heart. You don’t know nothing about it. You know that the Holy Spirit would make her conduct herself a little better, now, that may be true. But I’ll tell you, as you and I, let God do the judging of that, and let’s you and I just pray for that person that God will show them the Light.
62 Here some time ago a man met me out here, aside. And I had a pianist here that had a little, short, little skirt, and wasn’t just exactly, I guess, just right. And the lady had short hair, and she was just a babe in this Way, and she was playing the piano. And a man met me out there and just tearing me to pieces, he said, “And you’re a pentecostal preacher, and let that woman set up there! That short hair!” And just going on like everything.
63 “Well,” I said, “I think the woman has a good spirit in her. I certainly do not agree with that, you know, the skirt part up here, the two pieces.”
64 One of them is down here and one kind up here, it’s a shirt like they wear. And so it’s real thin and shows that underneath garment that they have around there. I don’t think that—that should be done. I—I don’t like that, I really don’t. I—I can’t…They—they might be just as Spirit-filled as anybody else, I don’t know; God knows that. But I wouldn’t condemn that woman and say that she was going to hell, by the sight.
65 This same person had in his church a lady who had long hair and wore long dresses, and had a temper enough to fight a buzz saw, and just as mean as she could be. Now, long hair and long skirts don’t take you to Heaven. No, sir! It’s the Spirit that’s in you takes you to Heaven. But if you as a Christian…
66 Then you should remember that many times pastors don’t mention those things and the people just automatically go on, think it’s all right. But a pastor should really tear into that. And—and—and then the sisters of the church, those sisters who are in character standing, wearing their clothes neatly, they should be examples of sweetness, and—and motherly and sisterly-like.
67 And I think that any woman that’s motherly and godly and sisterly ought to go to such a person, and with sweetness of the Spirit, just sit down and talk to that lady. And if she is of God, the Holy Spirit will understand those things, and she’ll correct herself. But when you real quickly condemn her and drive her away, you might harm that young, born baby. See? So I—I wouldn’t condemn the person.

69 Now, I—I have to say something here that may be just a little strange, and if you don’t agree with me, that’s okay. You see, we misjudge these things so many times. Let’s always try to think the very best of anybody who’s trying to do what’s right. Let’s express our very best to them. Oh, they’re trying. We don’t know their heart, unless you have a discernment. And if they’re wrong, then if you got…The Bible said, “If a brother be overtaken in a fault, let them which are spiritual go to that brother in a spirit of meekness, considering your own self lest you be tempted, and see if you can’t reconcile that person, see, back to God.”

"Church Is Like A Hospital"
"I would rather have a church that knows nothing about any spiritual gift, and just be so in love with each other and with Christ, I’d rather have that than every spiritual gift operating in the church. Psalm 73:26 - My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
Have you ever been too afraid to try something? It is normal to be afraid to break out of your comfort zone. It doesn’t feel very good outside of that zone of control you have. When you break out of that sphere of comfort, it can feel like jumping into a cold lake. At first, it is uncomfortable, however, after a few minutes of swimming around in that cold water, your body adjusts to the temperature. Trying new things can be just like that.
Teddy Roosevelt said once during the speech, “Man In The Arena”:
“It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.”
Brother Branham was a man who was thrown into a cold lake at different times throughout his life. The Lord allowed situations to come up where it felt very uncomfortable. The important thing is that he kept on going and he kept on fighting. He stayed in the arena. The Lord was with him, even when Brother Branham himself didn’t feel like it.
Maybe you feel like a failure sometimes. Perhaps you have failed. It's okay. The important thing isn’t that you failed, it’s that you tried. Sometimes you just have to get back up and try again.
Though your flesh and your heart fail, the Lord is your portion and He is your strength. Keep trying.

Survival bias
During World War II, the Allies mapped bullet holes in planes that were hit by Nazi fire.
They were looking to strengthen the aircraft, reinforce areas heavily hit by enemy artillery, to be able to withstand these attacks even more.
His immediate thought was to rebuild and reinforce the areas of the plane that had more red dots (or received more bullets). In theory, it was a logical deduction. After all, these were the most affected areas.
But Abraham Wald, a mathematician, came to a different conclusion: the red dots only represented the damage on the planes that came home.
The areas that should really be reinforced, were the places where there were no points, because those are the places where the plane wouldn't survive being hit.
This phenomenon is called survival bias. It's when we look at the things that survived that we should focus on the things that didn't.
This story from World War II offers a profound spiritual metaphor: In our lives, we often focus on the areas where we've been wounded, the battles we've survived, and the struggles we've overcome. It's natural to think we should strengthen these places, where we already see the scars. But like the planes that returned from war, these scars are evidence of resilience—evidence that we survived those trials.
However, true wisdom lies in recognizing that the most vulnerable parts of our lives are often the ones that haven't yet faced the storm, where we might not have been tested or where we feel most secure. These are the places that need fortification.
Spiritually, this is a call to seek God's protection and guidance not only in our known weaknesses but also in the unseen, untested areas of our hearts and lives. We must remember Proverbs 4:23, which says, "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." It's in guarding and fortifying our hearts—especially in the areas where we think we are safe—that we truly prepare for the battles ahead.

Brother, sister, there is a secret place that every believer should go, the backside of the desert, there on those sacred sands. Oh, no doctor of theology, no Greek or Hebrew scholar, no school or seminary... They might twist you all up in these kind of things, but if you ever met God on those sacred sands, Satan can't put his feet on them sands. You know you met God. Something real... What was it? You talked to God yourself. You had an experience.

You have to be if you're going to pray for the sick and lay your hands on--on is a lie detector, will detect and make you tell the truth, because it'll say if you're lying. If you are lying, what good does it do you to put hands on the sick and ask for healing? You got to be honest, friends. That's right.

A Season For Everything
Ecclesiastes 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven”.
King Solomon writes to us, “there is a season for everything in life.” There is a time and place for everything that happens. Nothing is by chance with God. Everything is purposed and planned, and His seasons perfectly align according to His foreordained will.
Our job is to recognize what season God has us in and fulfill our purpose for that season. Our motives and objectives may be as good as they can possibly be, but unless it is God’s season, it will not work. Brother Branham uses the story of David trying to bring the Ark of the Covenant back into Jerusalem in I Chronicles 13 as a description of what it is to try to do something right, but it not being God’s season.
God has a specific time for you to accomplish everything in your life. The way to find out about this is to seek the Lord. David should have sought the Lord first, but instead he sought the counsel of those around him first. Always seek God first through prayer, reading the Word, and fasting, if necessary. He will answer you in His time, so you must wait; and when He does answer, it will be in His season, according to His will.
Are you seeking the Lord to find His will? Or are you looking in the wrong places and purely relying on the counsel of those around you? Remember, the Scripture encourages us to seek Godly counsel, but God will bring that counsel to you if you first seek Him about the season you are in.
Recognize what the perfect will of God is for you in your life by waiting on the Lord and seeking His leading.

The very character of Jesus was perfected by suffering. And according to Paul He has left His church a measure of suffering that they, too, by their faith in God while suffering for Him, would come to a place of perfection. Why did He want this?
James 1:2-4, "My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing."
Why does He stand by? The reason is in Romans 8:17-18, "And if children, then heirs, heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us."
Unless we suffer with Him we cannot reign with Him. You have to suffer to reign. The reason for this is that character simply is never made without suffering. Character is a VICTORY, not a gift. A man without character can't reign because power apart from character is Satanic. But power with character is fit to rule. And since He wants us to share even His throne on the same basis that He overcame and is set down in His Father's throne, then we have to overcome to sit with Him. And the little temporary suffering we go through now is not worthy to be compared to the tremendous glory that will be revealed in us when He comes. Oh, what treasures are laid up for those who are willing to enter into His kingdom through much tribulation.
"Think it not strange concerning the fiery trials that are to try you."
That is what Peter said. Is it strange that God wants us to develop a Christ-like character that comes through suffering? No sir. And we all have trials. We are all tried and chastened as sons. Not one but goes through that. The church that is not suffering, and is not being tried, hasn't got it--it isn't of God.
Heb. 12:6 "For whom the Lord loveth He chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom He receiveth. But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons."
Now this special condition in Smyrna must be applied to every age. There is no age free from it. There is no true believer free from it. This is of God. This is the will of God. It is needful. We need the Lord to teach us the truth that we are to suffer and be Christ-like in doing it. "Love suffereth long and is kind."
Matthew 5:11-12 "Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for My sake. Rejoice and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you."
The cloudy skies and storms of life are no signs of God's disapproval. Neither are bright skies and still waters signs of His love and approval. His approval of any of us is only IN THE BELOVED. His love is elective which He had for us before the foundation of the world. Does He love us? Ah yes. But how shall we know? We shall know because He SAID SO, and manifested that He did love us for He brought us to Himself and gave us of His Spirit, placing us as sons. And how shall I prove my love to Him? By believing what He said, and by conducting myself with joy amidst the trials that He in His wisdom allows to come to pass.

Revelation 3:21 "To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with Me in My throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with My Father in His throne."
Now what are we to overcome? That is the normal question to ask here. But that is not the actual thought of this verse for it is not so much WHAT we are to overcome but HOW we are to overcome. Now this is logical, for does it matter much WHAT we are to overcome as long as we know HOW we can overcome?
A quick look at those Scriptures which involve the Lord Jesus overcoming will bring out the truth of this proposition. In Matthew 4, wherein Jesus is tempted of the devil, He overcame the personal temptations of Satan by the Word, and by the Word only. In each of the three major trials that corresponded exactly to the temptation of the Garden of Eden, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye, and the pride of life, Jesus overcame by the Word. Eve fell to the personal temptation of Satan by failing to use the Word. Adam fell in direct disobedience to the Word. But Jesus overcame by the Word. And right now, let me say that this is the only way to be an overcomer, also it is the only way that you can know if you are overcoming, because that Word CAN'T fail.
Now notice again how Jesus overcame the world systems of religion. When He was repeatedly badgered by the theologians of His day, He constantly applied the Word. He spake only what the Father gave Him to speak. There was not a time when the world was not utterly confused by His wisdom for it was the wisdom of God.

We need friends who care about the same things we care about. Would we choose a friend who will remain unashamed while watching us take the wrong path in life? One quality we must keep in mind when seeking a friend is their commitment to truth and growth. Someone who genuinely cares about us, influences and inspires us to be better, that's a friend worth it.

« E-17 Look at it. In the world today, where all this ism rises up. Watch on all the cults of non-meat eating, and a legalist that, "I've got to do so-and-so. If I don't speak with tongues; if I don't do this; if I don't shout; if I don't dance, there's something wrong with me." That's legalism. We are saved by grace through faith.
Nothing what you done. It's what He did. He did what you couldn't do. If you could've saved yourself, then He wouldn't have had to die. But He died in order to save you, where you could not save yourself.
That old God dishonoring proverb says, "God helps those who can't help themselves," or "God helps those who help themselves," they say. That's just vice versa. If you can help yourself, God expects you to do it. God helps those who cannot help theirself. And you can't help yourself to be saved, so God by His grace saved you.

And he had a bunch of women in there, was supposed to be his queens, that was prophetess. They even think that old Balaam come from that section, they had roots and so forth. They worshipped, you know (many of you scholars that reading Hislop's Two Babylons, and so forth, and the history of the church), and how they--they did. And they had women that done this, and women... a goddess, and everything, and it was a forced religion. Everybody, every city around Babylon was compelled to come to Babylon to worship under Nimrod at the tower. See? That's right. They were forced to do it, debate it. There's where the confusion come.
