In Defense of The Supernatural Cloud (3 Part Series & Study) - Brother Bill Rostron

This set of videos was recorded at The Tabernacle of the Lord, Townville, SC on March 1, 2020 and March 8, 2020.

The purpose is to consider the anomalous cloud formation that appeared over Flagstaff, Arizona on Feb. 28, 1963, in the light of current understanding of meteorology and physics.

The common postulated cause of this event is said to be from the launch of a Thor-Agena D rocket from Vandenburg Air Force Base, some 3 1/2 hours before the cloud appeared.

The problem is approached as a rigorous Root Cause analysis. The discussion is extensive and endeavors to give all of the basic information required to reach a conclusion. The analysis shows that the commonly held postulated cause is unlikely to be correct.

Video 1 outlines the problem and provides background information needed to understand the later discussion. Atmosphere constituents and Dalton's Law of partial pressures are presented. Properties of water and the Saturation/Sublimation Line are presented. Standard Atmospheric pressure and temperature are presented.

Video 2 covers the majority of the cause analysis. Atmospheric layers, standard atmosphere moisture content, cloud formation, wind patterns, and size and volume of the cloud are considered. At the end we touch on the contents of Video 3.

Video 3 covers the characteristics of the Thrust Augmented Thor-Agena D rocket and basic rocket physics. Key is analysis of solid-rocket booster chemistry and physics. The root cause analysis is closed with validation of key assumptions and discussion of the conclusions.

I listened to this entire series. I found it to be fair and impartial and very intensive and exhaustive. It has answered several questions I had. Who would think! Science proving God’s word!

I found this series to be very good and well presented especially since I studied a bit of atmospheric chemistry when I was at university.

Science was supposed to disprove God. It did the opposite.

Mother Possum waited to be Prayed for by William Branham

In the sermon “An Exodus” (June 15, 1956, Indianapolis), Brother William Branham shares a testimony to illustrate how God leads and cares for all His creation.

One morning, an injured mother opossum wandered onto Brother Branham’s property. Though opossums are nocturnal and rarely seen in daylight, she passed several open yards and came directly to his fenced home. She was badly wounded, her shoulder crushed and infested with maggots, and she carried nine tiny babies in her pouch. Despite her suffering, she struggled to reach his doorstep, seemingly determined to protect her young.

Friends suggested ending the animal’s suffering, but Brother Branham felt he could not kill her. The opossum lay near his door for nearly twenty-four hours while her babies continued trying to nurse. As he prayed and considered what to do, Brother Branham felt the Holy Spirit impress upon him that the animal had come there to be prayed for.

He prayed and asked God to heal her. According to Brother Branham’s testimony, immediately after the prayer, the opossum rose up, gathered her babies back into her pouch, and walked away healed.

Brother Branham used this experience to teach that if God can guide and respond to an animal acting by instinct, how much more will He lead and care for people who seek Him. The story highlights divine guidance, compassion, faith, and God’s concern for all living creatures.

Try and Try again! (Our Daily Strength)

Psalm 73:26 “My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.”

Have you ever been too afraid to try something? It is normal to be afraid to break out of your comfort zone. It doesn’t feel very good outside of that zone of control you have. When you break out of that sphere of comfort, it can feel like jumping into a cold lake. At first, it is uncomfortable, however, after a few minutes of swimming around in that cold water, your body adjusts to the temperature. Trying new things can be just like that.

Teddy Roosevelt said once during the speech, “Man In The Arena”:

“It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.”

Brother Branham was a man who was thrown into a cold lake at different times throughout his life. The Lord allowed situations to come up where it felt very uncomfortable. The important thing is that he kept on going and he kept on fighting. He stayed in the arena. The Lord was with him, even when Brother Branham, himself, didn’t feel like it.

Maybe you feel like a failure sometimes. Perhaps you have failed. It's okay. The important thing isn’t that you failed, it’s that you tried. Sometimes you just have to get back up and try again.

Though your flesh and your heart fail, the Lord is your portion and He is your strength. Keep trying.

But we find here that, God, in spite of all the failure that Moses had done, He still had His hand on him. And He called him to go, do His service, called him to his commission. And what a consolation that must have been to Joshua, when he heard God say, "As I was with Moses, so will I be with you." Although, if I'm trying, and I fail, God won't leave me. I never have much confidence in anybody that's too afraid to do anything. I would rather be found a failure than too lazy to try.

God was delivering her…
but her heart was still longing for what He was judging.

Let that sink in.

Sodom wasn’t destroyed randomly.
It was judged because the corruption had reached its limit.
And before judgment fell, God showed mercy.

Angels were sent.
A way out was provided.
Clear instructions were given.

FLEE.
DON’T LOOK BACK.
MOVE OR DIE.

Lot’s wife left physically…
but mentally and spiritually, she stayed behind.

And that’s the part most people miss.

She wasn’t judged for curiosity.
She was judged for attachment.

Her body was escaping…
but her heart was still grieving the world God was burning.

Jesus later pulls this story back up and drops a cold, surgical warning:

“Remember Lot’s wife.” (Luke 17:32)

Not admire her.
Not pity her.
REMEMBER her.

Because in the last days, people would be doing what they always do:
Eating. Drinking. Building. Posting. Grinding. Distracted.

Meanwhile… judgment is already scheduled.

Jesus then makes it even clearer:
Whoever tries to save their life will lose it.
Whoever is willing to lose it for God will preserve it.

Translation?
You can’t carry the world and carry the cross.

Trying to keep sin while asking for salvation is spiritual self-sabotage.
Clinging to comfort while God is calling you out is rebellion, not grace.
Mourning what God is removing is a sign the heart is divided.

Scripture doesn’t stutter:
“The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life.” (Romans 6:23)

So the pattern is clear:

Deliverance requires obedience, not hesitation.
Salvation requires surrender, not compromise.
Judgment begins when the heart refuses to let go.

Many want God’s protection
but still want the world’s pleasures.

Many want Jesus as Savior
but reject Him as Lord.

And here’s the uncomfortable truth:
What you refuse to release
can block your spiritual movement.

What you keep holding onto
can cost you everything.

If God has told you to let it go,
the response isn’t explanation…
it’s repentance.

Turn back.
Refocus.
Drop the weight.
Walk forward.

Don’t mourn what God is judging.
Don’t desire what He’s destroying.
Don’t look back at what He delivered you from.

Obedience isn’t loss.
It’s protection.
Obedience isn’t loss.
It’s life.

The prophet says Lot's wife had other daughters married to men in Sodom. She was thinking about her grandchildren. When Lot went to ask them to leave Sodom with him they refused.

This is without a doubt true 💯 …and to support this, the parable of the 10 virgins…. 5 stayed behind, they were virgins! Clean! And still were left behind! He didn’t wait nor return for them…. How much more for those that keep playing worldly?? “15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. He is freely pardoned and becomes a new creature in Christ Jesus. And his affections are set on the things that are above, where Christ sets at the right hand of God. He’s freely released. He doesn’t have to have some priest to tell him or some minister to tell him. New Years Eve - [ Our Daily Strength]
Ⅱ Corinthians 5:17- Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new

The last day of the year. A bit depressing, yet exciting at the same time. Perhaps you are thankful that this year is finally over; maybe you are sorrowful it went by so fast. Some years are harder than others and some are just more eventful than others, but one thing is for sure, they all fly by.

Take a minute to think back on the year. Think about what happened that affected you, that changed you, and think about circumstances and situations that arose.

Ponder over it and ask yourself these questions:
- Am I closer to the Lord?
- Have I learned from the situations and circumstances this year?
- How will I be different this year?

God is not interested in stagnation, God is interested in you growing. He is interested in your family growing, your work, your church, and you personally, most of all.

Things happen, situations arise, and trials come and go for the perfecting of our character. Let us rejoice in these things. We are one year closer to being home with Christ. We are that much closer to the last stage of humankind as we know it on this earth. It should be with us like it is for a little child on the eve of their birthday, eagerly awaiting the day.

Let us this coming year, as we close out the present, focus on being led of the Spirit. Let us purpose in ourselves as Believers, “Lord, whatever you have in store for this coming year, let me rely on your Spirit more.”

It is an exciting time. Regardless of what this past year may have held for you, purpose in your heart to be led of the Spirit this year.

Perhaps this is the year the Lord will take us home. Live with anticipation.

But lead me on, Lord, to continue to do as I am led to do. “Some years ago a minister invited me to preach in his church in the state of Florida. While there, he began to tell me that nearby in the city lived a woman who had been Brother Branham’s sweetheart in his youth—the young lady described by the prophet in the book The Story of My Life as the one with dove’s eyes, pearl-like teeth, and a swan’s neck. The minister asked if I would like to meet her along with my wife, and we agreed. So we met at a nearby restaurant and began to share and converse with her—a woman over 70 years old—who recalled the supernatural experiences Billy used to tell her: how a Voice spoke to him from a tree and other strange things. Yet she did not follow those things since she was not religious, but she still held respect for them.

I asked if she was aware of the worldwide ministry that Brother William Branham’s life had brought forth. She knew, but had never entered religion, although she cherished beautiful memories of Billy, a very noble and gentlemanly young man. At that moment she pulled from her purse an old black-and-white photo of Brother Branham with a cowboy scarf around his neck—cut in the shape of a heart, with the words written: ‘I love Bill.’ As I tried to make contact with her spirit, the words came to my heart that the Angel had spoken to the prophet Beyond the Curtain of Time: ‘All that you have loved, and all who have loved you, God has given you here.’

A Tribute to Brother Ed Byskal (On behalf of The Byskal Family)

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Brother Ed Byskal on September 17, 2025. He has gone from this earthly dimension into the heavenly realm, the Place he lived for, longed for and faithfully pointed others toward throughout his life.

How does one begin to honour a man of God whose life touched and impacted countless souls around the world? Who can measure the effect of such a ministry? In truth, it is beyond reckoning. Yet we pause in gratitude, giving glory to the King of Kings for the privilege of walking alongside Brother Byskal during his ninety years on this earth.

Now, I thank Brother Byskal, Eddie, as I know him, a real precious boy. I really fell in love with this young lad when I met him at…up at Dawson Creek. My first time was Grande Prairie, but he was at Dawson Creek at the time, and I met him there. And he was telling me about he was missionarying to the Indians.
62-0729 – “Perseverant”

Brother Byskal’s burden for souls was so tangible from his twenties as he regularly missionaried to the Native Indians on Vancouver Island. It was this love for God’s people that caught Brother Branham’s heart. Brother Byskal encountered Brother William Branham in Dawson Creek for the first time, and discerned what many could not, that there was a depth to this ministry unseen by the world at large. A defining moment came while seated on a log in the quiet wilderness of Northern British Columbia, when God’s Messenger answered the three questions that had long weighed upon his heart. There, on that log, he met the Master. The song “I Met the Master” became forever tied to his testimony, as he often recalled that sacred day, knowing “The Other Angel” was present with him.

From that moment, a fire was kindled, one whose reach only Heaven could foresee. After Brother Branham’s passing, the Message became the singular burden of his life. Brother Byskal began to “run” with it in a way few others have, carrying it across continents and cultures, compelled by the call to bring it to every kindred, tongue and nation. In 1986, his sermon “Let Us Run,” preached in Ruth, North Carolina, was not only a sermon but a declaration of purpose. It became the theme of his ministry, igniting and sustaining the faith of believers across the globe.

Brother Byskal’s ministry was never confined to the pulpit; wherever he went, his presence and burden left a lasting impact. The effects of his labour continue to ripple across nations even to this day. From Norway to India, from the Philippines to China, where he was even imprisoned for the Gospel’s sake, and across Africa and North America, there are few places untouched by his influence. Nations themselves can point to moments when their passion for this Message was rekindled through his ministry. A defining milestone came in 2007, when his vision to place the Message in the hands of believers worldwide became reality through the launch of the MessageHub. This endeavour became his greatest passion. Nothing consumed him more than ensuring that the Word for this Hour reached God’s people in every language, in every land.

Regardless of where he travelled, Brother Byskal’s heart was always at his flock at home, at Cloverdale Bibleway. Pastoring for over fifty years, he shepherded his flock with love and care that came from the Great Shepherd. Brother Byskal will be remembered not only for his preaching, but for the integrity, humility, and steadfastness with which he lived the Message he proclaimed. His words carried weight because his life bore the testimony of a true servant of God, faithful, humble, and unwavering in conviction. His ministry transcended generations, leaving an indelible mark on the Body of Christ worldwide.

Even the meaning of his name, Eddie, “my witness”, proved prophetic. His life was indeed a witness to the transforming power of Christ. He exemplified the truth of Hebrews 12:1:

“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.”

Now, having finished his course, Brother Byskal joins that great cloud of witnesses. His testimony radiates as a guiding light for all who continue the race.

We are now the runners. Each of us who was encouraged, uplifted, strengthened, and ignited by his life carries the torch forward. The greatest tribute we could offer him is to run…to carry this Message as he did, to live this Word as he lived it and to press the Kingdom onward without faltering or wavering, steadfast in the faith, as the example he set before us.

We also ask that you remember the family in your prayers, and especially Sister Ruth. While we all feel this loss deeply, none will feel it more deeply than the one who stood faithfully by Brother Byskal’s side for seventy-one years. Though this absence is but for a season, it will be a heavy burden to bear. If ever there was a woman who exemplified the true meaning of a virtuous woman, it is surely Sister Ruth. She shared in the burdens and toils, and rejoiced in the many victories, faithfully caring for and sustaining the servant of God through every stage of his ministry. We ask that you hold her before the Lord in this time, that she may be strengthened and comforted in His presence.

The family has requested that their moments of remembrance be held privately with family members only. Please allow them this time together as they honour their husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather.

Each of us will carry our own stories and memories of Brother Byskal’s influence, whether through his visits to foreign lands, his assembly at home, or the prospering of the Message in distant nations as a result of his labours. A True Witness: Remembering Brother Ed Byskal - Brother Ed Byskal, pastor of Cloverdale Bibleway in Surrey, BC, has passed away at the age of 90. For over 65 years he dedicated his life to the ministry, with nearly five decades serving his church alongside his wife, Sister Ruth.

Many knew Brother Byskal not only as a pastor and friend, but also as a man who shared his testimony of growing up in the faith and his encounters with Brother William Branham. He attended many of Branham’s meetings, joined him on hunting trips, and was an eyewitness to the many supernatural events that took place in that ministry.

He will be remembered as a faithful servant of Jesus Christ, a true witness, and a spiritual father whose life touched thousands around the world. Well Done my Brother.

1986 approx. I was about 5 yo. when Bro & Sis Byskal had us stay at their house, my dad preached at the old cabin church. They were building the new church and he took us to see the new construction. I remember his moose on the wall and he gave each of us kids a Canadian dollar coin, I still have to this day. Super sweet couple. My boys love seeing his testimony about the green shirt!

"Serving" (Our Daily Strength)

Luke 12:27 - Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

If there ever was an example of “service to others”, it is the wildflowers in the field. They are astonishingly beautiful and intricately unique, yet they really don’t get much for themselves. They display their beauty to us and we pluck them up to admire them or leave them where they are to die, but we rarely stop and thank them for their hard work and brilliant display.

It would seem a contradiction to say, “They toil to bring out their beauty”, when the Scripture says, “They toil not, neither do they spin.” But the truth is that the Lord brings every nutrient that plant needs within reach of its roots. Every drop of moisture it needs is soaked up by the ground around it as God sends the rain. The Lord gives it everything it needs, yet it goes through so much to display its beauty, and no one says thank you.

God gives us everything we need to be of service to others. All that we are called to do, down to every drop of faith we need to believe in Him, He has given us and will give us. All we need to do is put ourselves into action. You don’t have to be a minister to serve those around you. You just have to be of service in the ways you can to those around you, with a willing attitude and out of a humble heart.

Not even Solomon, arrayed in all of his riches, is like someone who serves with everything they have, out of a willing spirit. God has given you everything you need; now go and serve those around you. It is the example of Christ to serve those around you.

Are you serving like you should?

“Love Him” — A Reflection of God’s Grace and Calling

This powerful image tells a story we all know too well. A soul lost in the mud of sin, angered and ashamed, cries out, “Leave me alone, God!” It’s a cry of pain, not rebellion—a cry that comes from the weight of guilt and the fear of being unworthy of love. And yet, even in the mud, even in the rejection, Jesus waits. But grace doesn’t leave us there. The moment the heart turns back and whispers, “Jesus, please forgive me,” Heaven moves.

We see the cleansing blood of Jesus, the sacrifice poured out—not just to cover, but to transform. The once broken figure stands white as snow, redeemed and made new. The response to this miracle is one we’ve all felt deep in our hearts: “Jesus, how can I thank You?”

The soul, now pure, stands in awe and whispers what we all ask in the secret corners of our hearts: “Jesus, how can I thank You?” And then comes the answer, not a command, but a calling: “Love him.”

God speaks and says: “Love him.”
The same kind of person you used to be.
The one still in the mud.
Still cursing.
Still lost.
Still in need of grace.

We weren’t saved to sit still, we were saved to shine. Each one of us has a purpose in God’s great design: to reflect His love, His grace, and His mercy into a world that is covered in spiritual mud. Our purpose is not just to escape sin—but to carry the heart of God to others. Just as we were forgiven, we must forgive. Just as we were rescued, we must reach. Just as we were loved when we were at our worst, we must now love those still lost.

This is the reflection of Christ in us. His nature becomes our calling. His blood doesn’t just clean us, it commissions us.

How do We Reflect God’s Attributes
• Love – True love goes beyond comfort. It reaches into brokenness. It doesn’t wait until people are clean—it loves them in the mud.
• Grace – We give what was given to us freely. Grace is not earned. Neither should ours be.
• Mercy – Mercy sees the pain behind the sin. It lifts, it restores, it speaks life where death once ruled.
• Will – God’s will is that none perish. He wants His children to be His hands and feet—to go where He would go, and to love like He does.

Look around you. Someone nearby is still in the mud. They don’t need your judgment—they need the Jesus in you. Answer the call: “Love them.”

This is the will of God—not that we merely receive His nature, but that we become a vessel of it. That people would see Jesus not only in what we preach, but in how we love. Because God’s love isn’t passive. It moves. It stoops. It bleeds. And it saves.

So when you look at the broken—when you see someone still lost in the mess you once lived in—and you feel that tug in your heart… that’s Him.
That’s Jesus whispering again: “Love him.”

Let today be the day you fulfill the most basic, yet most divine commandment: “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” — John 13:35

Many of us wonder so often, “What is it exactly that the Lord wants me to do?” Some might think on a daily basis, “What must I do for the Lord, and how do I do it?” It is right to think that way. When we gave our hearts to the Lord we submitted ourselves to a life of service to the King. Going about regular business then might seem like nothing is being accomplished toward the “King's” business. Even Jesus as a young boy was about His “Father's” business.

You must realize one thing, that God will use however much of yourself you give Him, in whatever capacity He created you for. The Lord could prepare you fifty years for five minutes of service to him. Someone else he might just prepare for five minutes for fifty years of service. Your job is to just be usable. Live pleasing to Him. Wait on the Lord and He will use you.

You are precious to the Kingdom of God because you were fearfully and wonderfully made, just let Him use you in His way and His time.

Many of us wonder so often, “What is it exactly that the Lord wants me to do?” Some might think on a daily basis, “What must I do for the Lord, and how do I do it?” It is right to think that way. When we gave our hearts to the Lord we submitted ourselves to a life of service to the King. Going about regular business then might seem like nothing is being accomplished toward the “Kings” business. Even Jesus as a young boy was about His “Fathers” business.

You must realize one thing, that God will use however much of yourself you give Him, in whatever capacity He created you for. There was a moment when Moses ask God what His name is. God was gracious enough to answer, and the name He gave is recorded in the original Hebrew as YHWH.

Over time, we’ve arbitrarily added an “a” and an “e” in there to get YaHWeH—presumably because we have a preference for vowels.

But scholars and rabbis have noted that the letters YHWH represent breathing sounds, or aspirated consonants. When pronounced without intervening vowels, it actually sounds like breathing.

YH (inhale), WH (exhale).

So a baby’s first cry—his first breath—speaks the name of God.
A deep sigh calls His name… or a groan or gasp that is too heavy for mere words.
Even an atheist speaks His name, unaware that their very breath gives constant acknowledgment to God.
Likewise, a person leaves this earth with their last breath—when God’s name is no longer filling their lungs.

So when I can’t utter anything else… is my cry calling out His name?
Being alive means I speak His name constantly.

Is it heard the loudest when I’m the quietest?

In sadness, we breathe heavy sighs.
In joy, our lungs feel as if they might burst.
In fear, we hold our breath and have to be told to breathe slowly to calm down.
When we’re about to do something hard, we take a deep breath to find our courage.

When I think about it, breathing is giving Him praise—even in the hardest moments.

This is so beautiful, and it fills me with emotion every time I grasp the thought:

God chose to give Himself a name that we can’t help but speak every moment we’re alive.

All of us. Always. Everywhere.

Hebrews 12:1 - Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.

Some people are just born to run; other people are just born to run faster. In 1945, two years before the first recorded message was preached by Brother Branham, the country of Scotland mourned the death of the “Flying Scotsman,” known to us as Eric Liddell. He was a man who was born to run faster. He once said, *“I believe God made me for a purpose, but He also made me fast! And when I run, I feel His pleasure.”*

As an Olympian gold medalist, international rugby player, and missionary teacher to China, Eric Liddell served God in all he did until he passed away in a Japanese internment camp during World War II. In the 1924 Paris Olympics, Liddell refused to run in the 100-metre race because it was held on a Sunday. Instead, he chose to run the 400-metre race, which he won. Liddell was, first and foremost, a man who lived his faith. It didn’t matter how prestigious the tournament was—he ran for the Lord.

After the Paris Olympics, Liddell declared, “It has been a wonderful experience to compete in the Olympic Games and to bring home a gold medal. But since I have been a young lad, I have had my eyes on a different prize. You see, each one of us is in a greater race than any I have run in Paris, and this race ends when God gives out the medals.”

How diligently do you run the race for Christ? Are you racing for your career and putting the Lord second? Are you running for riches and worldly goods, which will surely pass away? Or are you running to please the Lord?

Run, with patience, the race that is set before you. Don’t stop running.

To the writing of books, there is no end.” Wiser words have never been spoken. Actually, they were said by the wisest man who ever lived. There will never be an end to applying the knowledge, wisdom, and experience we have in written form, such as books, essays, and articles. Even if we combined all of the knowledge from all of the books, the study of them would simply weary the mind and body. It is a never ending cycle of study, then writing, only to study and write again. This process, however, is necessary, especially for ministers, to communicate a message effectively.

Solomon then says, “Let’s hear the end of the whole matter: just Fear God and keep His commandments.” This is the most important thing that you could do. In fact, it is your duty. The question is, what shall we do to experience God? What shall we do to attain peace? What shall we do to attain purpose? Do our duty.

You can be wearied and confused by the constant study, the constant writing, and the constant reading. Solomon says, “when you get weary don’t forget the conclusion of the whole matter.” Don’t forget, and keep reminding yourself of what is really important. Fear the Lord with all that is in you.

We study, we read, we write. Necessary though they are, we must never forget the end of the whole matter: fear God and keep His commandments. Don’t worry about all you don’t know, because it will come as God reveals it to you through study. Just keep doing what you do know.

Children of Light

Ephesians 5:8 - For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light.

Light is nature's way of transferring energy through space. Without energy, there is no life. So, there first has to be a light source, and then there has to be a receptor of that light. Light is merely the way of transferring energy from one source to another.

Plants use this scientific phenomenon in what is called the process of photosynthesis. It is the process whereby sunlight hits the plant, and the plant has a chemical reaction in the leaves that turns the sunlight into energy for the plant to live. Photosynthesis is merely the transfer of energy from the sun to the plant. There is no artificial light that will ever replicate the light of the sun for that plant.

Just as the natural types the spiritual, this process of the transfer of energy happens in the life of every believer (I Corinthians 15:46). You were at one point in darkness, but when the light of God shone down into your soul, it struck a seed that contained the very life of Christ. As you continue to dwell in the Word, which is the life of God, it brings out growth in that seed within you and begins to pull those attributes from inside of your soul. You are a living example of photosynthesis in human flesh.

God’s light shines into your life, and it is only God’s light that will bring out the attributes of Him in your soul.

All you need to do is stay in the Word; stay in the light. “Walk in the light as He is in the light” (I John 1:7).

Are you walking in the light?
Have you come completely into that light?

You were once walking in the darkness of the world, but now you are in the light source. Now you can have that transfer of energy from God directly into your life. All you need to do is walk as children of light in the presence of the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

**Stay Grounded in the Word of God:** Regular immersion in the Word of God, like constant exposure to sunlight, fuels spiritual growth and transformation, helping us reflect His light.

**Live in His Presence:** Cultivating a constant relationship with Jesus through prayer, worship, and reflection on His teachings allows Christ’s presence to fill and guide every part of our lives.

Walk today as a child of the light of Christ. Stay in the presence of Christ.

Children of Light

Ephesians 5:8 - For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light.

Light is natures way of transferring energy through space. Without energy, there is no life. So, there first has to be a light source, and then there has to be a receptor of that light. Light is merely the way of transferring energy from one source to another.

Plants use this scientific phenomenon in what is called the process of photosynthesis. It is the process whereby sunlight hits the plant, and the plant has a chemical reaction in the leaves that turns the sunlight into energy for the plant to live. Photosynthesis is merely the transfer of energy from the sun to the plant. There is no artificial light that will ever replicate the light of the sun for that plant.

Why did Jesus Fold the Napkin?

John 20:7 “And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.”

If the master was done eating, he would rise from the table, wipe his fingers, mouth, and beard, and would wad up the napkin and toss it onto the table. The servant would then know to clear the table. For in those days, the wadded napkin meant, “I’m done.”

But if the master got up from the table, folded his napkin, and laid it beside his plate, the servant would not dare touch the table because the folded napkin meant, “I’m coming back.”

When Peter and John discovered the folded napkin in the empty tomb, it was a powerful message to them and to all believers: Jesus was not done. He was coming back. This small detail was a promise of His return and a reminder of His ongoing presence in our lives.

The Story: The Archer’s Discipline
A young archer approached a seasoned master and asked, “Master, how do you hit the target every time?”

The elder smiled and handed him a bow. “Draw the string,” he instructed. The young man eagerly pulled it back.

“Now hold it,” said the master. The student began to tremble after a few seconds.

“Release!” the master finally commanded. The arrow shot forward but missed the target.

“Look,” the master explained, “strength alone does not make a great archer. It is control—over your breathing, your mind, and your release—that determines where the arrow lands. Without self-control, your aim will always waver.”

Life, like archery, requires discipline. If we do not learn to control our emotions, desires, and reactions, we will miss the target again and again.

The Importance of Self-Control
Self-control is not just about resisting temptation but about governing our spirit, our thoughts, and our actions. It is the ability to pause before reacting, to yield to God’s wisdom rather than being driven by impulses. Without self-control, we are vulnerable—like a city without walls, exposed to every attack of the enemy. But with it, we stand firm, unwavering in faith, and victorious in our walk with Christ.

True self-control is not merely a matter of willpower but of surrender. It is about giving our emotions, desires, and thoughts to God, allowing His Spirit to govern us. When we submit to Him, we gain the strength to master ourselves.

Reflect on This:
- How often do you react impulsively rather than acting with wisdom?

- Do your emotions dictate your decisions, or are you allowing the Holy Spirit to guide you?

- In what areas of your life do you need to surrender control to God today?

The Bride of Jesus Christ from Every Nation Marching onward to the New Jerusalem!

Speak to the storm testimony (Come walk with me) - William Branham

In this testimony, Brother Branham recounts an experience where he was trapped in a severe snowstorm while hunting in the mountains. As the storm worsened, he was uncertain of how to navigate his way out. At one point, a voice instructed him to turn back and return to the peak where the storm was at its worst. Following this guidance, he reached the summit and was told by the voice, “I am the God of Heaven, Who created the heavens and earth,” and was commanded to speak to the storm. Obeying, he spoke to the storm, commanding it to cease. Immediately, the storm stopped, the sun shone through, and the weather cleared. Branham marveled at the power of God's word, reflecting on how nature obeys the Creator.

This aligns with the verse from Matthew 17:20 (KJV): "If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you."

Pleasure

Psalm 16:11 - Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore

King David was a man who knew what it was like to experience good and bad times. He knew the feeling of having lost everything and sitting in the wilderness, with King Saul chasing him and wanting him dead. He also knew what it was like to experience pleasure. Sometimes that pleasure led to disastrous consequences. However, he understood that in God’s plan, there is pleasure forevermore. What is the difference between King David and his son, King Solomon, when he said in Proverbs 21:17, “He that loveth pleasure shall be a poor man: he that loveth wine and oil shall not be rich.”

Some people think that pleasure that is satisfying is okay, but that is not right. Hedonism is a school of thought founded by the Greeks that proposes that pleasure and happiness should be the primary purpose of human life. Their life is more important than the lives around them, if their aim is self-indulgence and a materialistic lifestyle. This is wrong, and there are even some Christian preachers in the world who propose such Christian hedonistic ideology. The Scripture warns us of this idea, when it says that in the last days, people would be “lovers of pleasures, more than lovers of God” (II Timothy 3:4).

God’s idea of pleasure is that which refreshes and strengthens you, yet does not distract you from your purpose in the Word of God. If we are to have pleasure at the expense of the Word of God, then it becomes sinful. Pleasure that satisfies the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life is worldliness and should have no part in the life of a Believer (I John 2:16).

A God-given pleasure is one that is refreshing to the spirit, body, and mind, and enables you to better perform the Word, not take you away from it. In God’s presence, there is joy forevermore.

As I got off the elevator, I stood and looked. Oh, there was something in me. I thought, "O God, will my little Rebekah or Sarah ever come to that?" And I looked at them. They staggered across the floor. I just stepped in to one side till they passed, and walked on out, went the other way: drinking. And I stopped at the end of the hall and looked down again, seen lovely little ladies which could probably be a real sweetheart to some man. And I heard one of them say. "Whoopee, this is life." I thought, "How wrong that is. That's death, for the Bible said, 'She that liveth in pleasure is dead while she is alive.'" So then we find out that life, what we call life.

Then we see signs today such as this, "Where there is Budweiser, there is life." How perverted that is. Where there's Budweiser, it is death. And we see signs like this too, "Life begins when the sun goes down." No, death begins when the sun goes down. The people become night prowlers. They prowl at night. And if you notice, they take the nature of the evil. Evil always prowls at night. And I read a article in a magazine one time when I was on an airplane, and it was about Hollywood. And it said that, "Life begins after midnight. You should come down on certain streets and certain things." And they had the picture of burlesque and so forth that goes on. And I said, "How perverted that is." You see, if Satan has a kingdom, he's got to have a false economy. He's got to have something that he can present to them to make them think they are living. But it's absolutely on the vice versa side. It's death in the form of life. See? It's a perversion from real life, because…

The Shunammite woman and Elijah.

150 Are you glad? I remember coming from Chattanooga one night; and the plane was downed at—at—at Tennessee, down there at Memphis. They put me up in that big, fine hotel there. And called me, said, “The plane will go out at—at seven o’clock, next morning.”

151 And I was taking some mail down to put in the mail box; coming home, writing back to some of my friends. And going down, the Holy Spirit said, “Keep walking.” I just kept on, got on down in the colored district.

152 I was standing down there, I thought, “My! Look here, it’s time for that plane to go.”

153 And the Holy Spirit kept saying, “Keep walking.” Just like He did in the woods the other day down there, you know. “Just keep walking.” So I kept on walking.

154 I happened to look way down there, in one of those little colored shacks where the colored people was living, poor, down there. An ol’ Aunt Jemima, typically, with a boyish shirt tied around her head, leaning over the…like that.

155 And I was going along there singing:

I’m…of them, I’m one of them,

I’m so glad that I can say I’m one of them, (Oh, Hallelujah!)

“And what do You want, Lord?”

One of them, I’m one of them,

Do you believe in being led by the Spirit? Yes, sure.

I’m so glad that I can say I’m one of them.

156 It’s been about fourteen years ago now. She was looking over the fence. I was about, oh, a half city block from her, and I seen this old, colored lady eyeing me right down, you know. Well, I just kept on, quit singing, started walking on down. I got up close to her, great big tears on them big fat cheeks; she looked at me, said, “Good morning, Parson!”

157 Turned around, I said, “How do you do, Auntie?” And she said…I turned around, she was laughing, had a big smile across her face. I said, “How did you know I was a parson?” Down South, you know, a preacher is a “parson.” Said…I said, “How’d you know I was a parson?”

She said, “I knowed you was coming!”

And I said, “How do you know that? Do you know me?”

She said, “No, sir.” And she said, “I know you was coming.” Said, “Did you ever hear the story about the Shunammite woman?”

I said, “Yes, sir.”

158 And she said, “Well,” she said, “I’s was that kind of woman.” She said, “And the Lord give me a baby, and I told her…told Him that I’d raise him.” Said, “I’m a poor woman. I wash and work for the white folks for a living.” She said, “And He told me that He—He give me the baby, and I told Him I’d raise him.” Said, “I raised him the best I knowed how, but” said, “Parson, he got amongst the wrong company. He got a disease, and we didn’t know nothing about it.” Said, “He got it advanced stage. And he’s dying, in there on the bed.” Said, “He’s been unconscious now, two days.” Said, “The doctor-man come and said, ‘It done eat up his heart and so forth, got into his blood stream, so bad till it damaged him; so that the stuff that they give him wouldn’t help him now.’” And said, “He’s dying.” And said, “I just can’t stand to see him die, a sinner.” And said, “I prayed and I prayed,” said, “all night long I prayed.” Said, “He’s unconscious, he don’t know nothing.” Said, “He hadn’t for two days.”

159 Said, “I prayed, I said, ‘Lord, You give me that baby’ and said, ‘like You did the Shunammite woman.’ Said, ‘Where is Your Elijah? Where is…?’ Said, ‘Well, where—where is something to help me?’”

160 And said, “I fell asleep on my knees.” And she said, “The Lord spoke to me, in my dream,” and she said, “‘Go out and stand by the gate. And there’ll be a man coming down the street, wearing a little, tan hat and a dark suit.’ He said, ‘He’ll speak to you.’”

161 And she said, “I been standing here since ’fore daylight.” And her back was wet from dew. And she said, “And I seen you come in that tan hat,” she said, “but you was supposed to be packing a little satchel.”

162 I said, “I left it in the hotel.” See? And I said, “Your boy is sick?”

Said, “He’s dying.”

I said, “My name is Branham.” I said, “Do you know me?”

She said, “No, sir, Parson Branham, I—I never heard of you.”

I said, “I pray for the sick.” She wasn’t interested in that. She didn’t want her boy to die, a sinner.

163 I walked in; they had an old gate there with a plowpoint hanging on it to swing it back (maybe many of you Northerners wouldn’t know what it is), but, to keep the gate closed. And I walked in the house, in a little, bitty, old, two-room (looked like a little…what we call a little “shotgun house”) like, setting there; there’s a room here, and that’s the living room, bedroom, and all together; and the kitchen back there. When I walked in…It was a little whitewashed place, and nice, stripped down on the sides, and clapboard. So then…No, I believe she had tar paper on top of the roof, I remember seeing them big bubbles, like of the dew, hanging on top of it.

164 Then when I walked in, there was a sign hanging there across that door, said, “God Bless Our Home.” Right here in the corner was an old bedstead over here, and one over here. There laid a great big fellow (not a rug on the floor), great big boy, big fine-looking chap standing there. I guess he was a…weigh a hundred and seventy or eighty pound, close to six foot. And he had the blanket in his hand, going, “Uhm. Uhm.”

165 And she said, “Mama’s baby.”

166 And I thought, “‘Mama’s baby.’” And yet he had a—he had a social disease, syphilis. And he—he was dying.

167 And she kissed him on the forehead, and patted him like that, said, “Mama’s baby.”

168 Why, my heart just went big. I thought, “Yes, no matter how deep you are in sin, you’re still her baby.” Then I thought, “See, no matter how bad off he was, it’s still ‘Mama’s baby.’” And I thought, “God said, ‘A mother may forget her suckling babe; but I can never forget you, for your name’s engraved in the palms of My hand.’” See? How could it be!

169 I looked at that poor old saint walking around there. You could tell, brother, she didn’t have nothing in the house; but she had something in the house that every house in Indiana or everywhere else ought to have in it; that’s God. I’d rather have that than have a big fine home with pin-up girls, and all this vulgar, nasty stuff. Old Bible laying there where It’s opened, old pages wrinkled in It.

170 I looked at her. And she said, “The Parson come pray for you, honey.”

171 He go, “Uhm. Uhm. Dark. Uhm.”

172 And I said, “What’s he saying?”

She said, “He doesn’t know. The doctor-man says, ‘He’s out of his head.’” Said, “He thinks he’s out in a big sea somewhere, and he’s rowing a boat, and he’s lost.” And said, “That’s what I can’t stand, Parson: to know my baby’s dying, lost.” And she said, “I knows you come to help me, ’cause the Lord’s done told me so.”

I said, “I’ll pray for him,” and I said, “maybe the Lord will heal him.”

173 She wasn’t interested in that, she just wanted him to raise up and say that he was ‘saved.’ That’s all, just so as long as he was saved. No matter, he has to go anyhow, so, sometime; as long as he was saved! Oh, if we could just get that attitude! That Eternal Home yonder, she knowed she’d live with him again then.

Said, “If I could just hear him say he was ‘saved.’”

I said, “Let’s bow down.” And she knelt down. And I just took a hold of his feet, and his feet was real cold and sticky. And I couldn’t pull the cover over them, a little—a little thin blanket she had over him there; and just had on his trunks, you know.

174 And so he…And he was pulling that back like that, just thinking he was in it. He grabbed that, and thinking he was pulling oars. He kept saying, “It’s so dark. Uhm. Uhm. It’s so dark.” So then she tried to talk to him; and he’s just keep saying, “It’s dark and cold,” just pulling.

175 Then I—I looked at her a little bit, and she knelt down there, and I said, “Auntie, would you lead us in prayer?”

She said, “Yes, sir.”

176 Just she, and I, and the boy, and the Holy Spirit in the room, is all. That old saint prayed. My! When she talked to Him, you knowed she had talked to Him before. Yes, sir! She knew who she was talking to. She said, “Lord, I don’t know what You’re going to do,” she said, “but everything’s just the way You said it.”

177 Oh, my! Oh! I’m so glad, I’m so glad He’s still the same Jesus was back there with those saints back in there. He’s still the same Jesus today.

178 And I never asked her about her religion, whether she was Baptist, Pentecostal, or what. That wasn’t my business. I was—I was just following the Holy Spirit, and she was doing the same thing. We wanted to see what He was going to do.

179 So we knelt down, and she started praying. When she got through praying, she raised up and kissed his head, said, “God, bless my baby.”

180 And then she said, “Now will you pray, Parson?”

181 And I said, “Yes, ma’am.” And right then it was about half past eight, maybe quarter till nine, and I was in…two miles from the place, and—and the airplane leaving at seven o’clock; and didn’t know when I’d ever get out.

182 So I put my hands over on his feet, I said, “Heavenly Father, I don’t understand this. And You…I—I was suppose to catch an airplane a while ago, nearly a hour and a half ago. You just kept saying, ‘Walk,’ and this is the only thing that I’ve found yet. And she said that You…she seen me coming. If that—if that was You, Lord, then I don’t know what to do but just put my hands over on the boy.”

183 He said, “Oh, mama,” said, “it’s getting light in here now.” And about five minutes from then, he was setting up on the side of the bed, with his arms around his mother.

184 I slipped out, run down there and caught a cab, and run over to the hotel to get my suitcase. And thought I’d go over and just wait, maybe have to wait a day or two in them days. You know how hard it was right after the war there to get a plane, so I thought, “I’ll have to wait a couple days.”

185 And I got in the cab and run out there, airport. Just as I got there, they said, “Flight number 196 for Louisville, Kentucky, now leaving.” God held that airplane on the ground for me, like that. Oh, I believe it!

186 About two years from then, I was going down on the train, going over to Arizona, to Brother Sharrit’s, there to a meeting. And so I was to pick up with Brother Moore and them. And so when I went over there, I stopped there at Memphis. And the train pulled in, if you all know how it pulls in going west like this, and then backs out and takes the turntable and switches off.

187 And them sandwiches on the train, they want about sixty cents apiece for them. And I can buy them for ten, fifteen cents, you know, out somewhere else. And I just waited till the train stopped, to get me some sandwiches. I was going to get me a ha-…sack full of hamburgers, and really have a jubilee going over there. So I jumped out and run down through there real quick, to get me a hamburger stand; looking around, she going to lay over there about thirty minutes.

188 And so I—I started to get me some hamburgers, and I heard somebody say, “Hello, there, Parson!” And I looked around, a little red cap, standing there batting his eyes, you know, said, “Don’t know me, do you?”

“Don’t believe I do, son.”

Come over, said, “Look at me good!”

And I said, “Yeah?” I said, “I don’t believe I know you.”

He said, “I knows you!” Said, “You Parson Branham!”

And I said, “Yeah, that’s right.” I said, “You ever been in one of my meetings?”

Said, “No, sir!” Said, “You remember that morning you come down to the house and my mammy was w-…?”

“Oh!” I said, “You’re not him!”

Said, “Yes, I is! Yes, I is!” He said, “Parson,” said, “I is healed, sound, and well.

175 Then I—I looked at her a little bit, and she knelt down there, and I said, “Auntie, would you lead us in prayer?”

She said, “Yes, sir.”

176 Just she, and I, and the boy, and the Holy Spirit in the room, is all. That old saint prayed. My! When she talked to Him, you knowed she had talked to Him before. Yes, sir! She knew who she was talking to. She said, “Lord, I don’t know what You’re going to do,” she said, “but everything’s just the way You said it.”

177 Oh, my! Oh! I’m so glad, I’m so glad He’s still the same Jesus was back there with those saints back in there. He’s still the same Jesus today.

178 And I never asked her about her religion, whether she was Baptist, Pentecostal, or what. That wasn’t my business. I was—I was just following the Holy Spirit, and she was doing the same thing. We wanted to see what He was going to do.

179 So we knelt down, and she started praying. When she got through praying, she raised up and kissed his head, said, “God, bless my baby.”

180 And then she said, “Now will you pray, Parson?”

181 And I said, “Yes, ma’am.” And right then it was about half past eight, maybe quarter till nine, and I was in…two miles from the place, and—and the airplane leaving at seven o’clock; and didn’t know when I’d ever get out.

182 So I put my hands over on his feet, I said, “Heavenly Father, I don’t understand this. And You…I—I was suppose to catch an airplane a while ago, nearly a hour and a half ago. You just kept saying, ‘Walk,’ and this is the only thing that I’ve found yet. And she said that You…she seen me coming. If that—if that was You, Lord, then I don’t know what to do but just put my hands over on the boy.”

183 He said, “Oh, mama,” said, “it’s getting light in here now.” And about five minutes from then, he was setting up on the side of the bed, with his arms around his mother.

184 I slipped out, run down there and caught a cab, and run over to the hotel to get my suitcase. And thought I’d go over and just wait, maybe have to wait a day or two in them days. You know how hard it was right after the war there to get a plane, so I thought, “I’ll have to wait a couple days.”

185 And I got in the cab and run out there, airport. Just as I got there, they said, “Flight number 196 for Louisville, Kentucky, now leaving.” God held that airplane on the ground for me, like that. Oh, I believe it!

186 About two years from then, I was going down on the train, going over to Arizona, to Brother Sharrit’s, there to a meeting. And so I was to pick up with Brother Moore and them. And so when I went over there, I stopped there at Memphis. And the train pulled in, if you all know how it pulls in going west like this, and then backs out and takes the turntable and switches off.

187 And them sandwiches on the train, they want about sixty cents apiece for them. And I can buy them for ten, fifteen cents, you know, out somewhere else. And I just waited till the train stopped, to get me some sandwiches. I was going to get me a ha-…sack full of hamburgers, and really have a jubilee going over there. So I jumped out and run down through there real quick, to get me a hamburger stand; looking around, she going to lay over there about thirty minutes.

188 And so I—I started to get me some hamburgers, and I heard somebody say, “Hello, there, Parson!” And I looked around, a little red cap, standing there batting his eyes, you know, said, “Don’t know me, do you?”

“Don’t believe I do, son.”

Come over, said, “Look at me good!”

And I said, “Yeah?” I said, “I don’t believe I know you.”

He said, “I knows you!” Said, “You Parson Branham!”

And I said, “Yeah, that’s right.” I said, “You ever been in one of my meetings?”

Now, this was shaped with intense heat and pressure in a forge. It weighs about ten pounds. Take this sword and hold it out straight. The more time we spend with the Word of God, in prayer, and following the Lord, the stronger we get. Ephesians 6 tells us that the Word of God is our sword of the Spirit. It is our primary weapon.

At first, you’ll feel strong and ready, able to stand your ground and face any kind of challenge in front of you. But God wants us to love each other, encourage one another, and keep each other accountable. The longer we try to walk alone, the harder it gets.

Isaiah, how’s that sword doing?
• It’s getting heavy.

Yeah, it has a tendency to do that—such is life. And yet, men will try to go as far as they can by themselves. But we need each other, and God gives us strength when we stand together. There are times when you will have to stand alone, but don’t do it out of pride or stubbornness. If you need help, ask. If you see a brother in need, help. Stand with him. Treat him the way you want to be treated.

But, the question is, what do you see when you look at Him? Do you see the second person of the trinity, or do you see a trinity, three in One? This mindset not only shapes thoughts but becomes a declaration of unworthiness, forming a cycle of negativity.

What we say, whether in conversations, online, or through social media, reveals what we truly believe about ourselves. It also reflects our reputation and what others think of us. We don’t want negative words to give us a bad reputation or make it seem like we have no standards. It is crucial to align our words with the truth of who we are according to God’s Word. He does not call us crazy or worthless; He calls us valuable, full of light, faith, and purpose.

The enemy thrives on labeling us with negativity, but God’s words bring life, not death. So guard your confession. Speak life, not destruction. You are not crazy; you are living, growing, and reflecting the worth and purpose God has placed in you.

Birthright

Genesis 25:30-34 And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright. And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me? And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob. Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentils; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.

Your spiritual birthright is the Holy Spirit. When you reject the Light of this day, you reject your means to the blood of Jesus Christ (1 John 1:7). That is rejecting your spiritual birthright. Walking in the Light is walking with Christ and in the Holy Spirit’s way. Securing your spiritual birthright is keeping with the Light of the Holy Ghost in your day.

In ancient Israel, the birthright belonged to the firstborn son of each family. It consisted of double what the father would leave to the others. The firstborn with the birthright would have double what other family members received of the flocks, herds, land, and all that the father possessed. It meant the difference between poverty and riches in many families in Israel.

Jacob wanted the birthright from his brother, Esau. The Bible says here that Esau sold his right to the birthright for frivolous reasons. As it was with Jacob, God’s chosen one even from his mother's womb, your spiritual birthright should mean everything in the world to you. A Believer should be willing to sell out everything of the world in order to receive the Holy Ghost. Christ alone has the power to save you and make you whole; the birthright to the Believer is the most important thing.

Is your determination for your spiritual birthright the same as Jacob’s was? Seek it with all you have, and when you have it, hold on to it with everything you are.
